Most of us aren’t getting our daily recommended amount of fiber
Who wants to eat a ton of raw vegetables and oatmeal each day? Most people don’t! We need to supplement our fiber intake to the daily recommended amount of 25-38 grams a day. These nutritionally packed fiber oat muffins are a great option to supplement your diet! Each serving provides six grams of soluable and insoluable fiber. The dōTERRA Fiber also has Lemon essential oil, a unique prebiotic, and a natural vitamin C.
You can add a scoop of fiber to many recipes and smoothies! You can even mix it in a glass of water with a frother!
Keep those bowels moving with fiber
Fiber supports our digestive system by scrubbing harmful carcinogens, bacteria, and cholesterol out of the body. In turn, preventing constipation and supporting regular and healthy stools. We all know the importance of a good bowel movement for overall health! You also want to make sure your drinking plenty of filtered water to support the detoxification pathways.
Fiber Oat muffins are Nutritionally packed
Oats are full of fiber and are great for heart health too. We use gluten free oats for all of our recipes! Bananas are also high in fiber and provide many other nutrients! Chia seeds are another superfood ingredient in this recipe. They are also full of fiber, but they support energy and digestive health too! You also get the benefits of dark chocolate. Not all chocolate is created equal though! I’ve linked my favorite below that fights free radicals, is full of antioxidants, and flavonoids and polyphenols.
Adding Essential Oils to your Fiber Oat Muffins
I love adding essential oils to many of my baked recipes. Fiber supports cholesterol and blood sugar levels and so does Cinnamon essential oil! I love adding On Guard or Cinnamon oil to the wet ingredients of my recipes. This gives the recipe an extra boost of antioxidants and immune support!
