Hi! I’m Amber and I’m passionate about natural remedies, whole foods, and living an empowered life!

I recently discovered that one of my top strengths is Input according to the CliftonStrengths finder. I love to learn and accumulate information, ideas, and even relationships! You will know this when you walk into my house and see baskets full of non-fiction books! I have my Masters in Education and I’ve always had a heart for children, advocating for natural solutions, and a whole food lifestyle. However, it wasn’t until I became a mother that I experienced a desire to become more empowered in my knowledge and intuition of what I wanted for my family.
I felt very hopeless and defeated when I would inquire about natural remedies and I found myself in a very reactive approach to wellness. When we aren’t empowered we find ourselves choosing any solution to “bandaid” the problem instead of searching for the root cause. Unfortunately, that reactive approach will lead us to long term consequences! My first years of motherhood I wasn’t an advocate for my families health. I didn’t research or question any of the decisions being made for my children’s wellness; even though I never felt confident in the choices that were being made. I had become complacent in my care as a mother and doubted my intuition frequently. I finally started to question and research and act on that intuition.
When the Lord calls us to step into our calling it will always take a bold move and usually a risk or two! A natural consequence though is being different! It’s time to stop striving by society’s and other people’s standards and live your purpose. Break the mold.

Over the last 7 years of this journey I’ve empowered myself, my children, and families around the world to choose more natural solutions, whole foods, and a wholistic lifestyle and the result is the HOPE and JOY that comes from living an empowered life!
More Fun Facts About our Family:
My husband, Jason and I, just celebrated our 16 year wedding anniversary! We both grew up in small town Indiana where we met and fell in love. Growing up I was a 10 year member of 4-H and loved showing pigs. I spent most of my childhood outdoors and it’s some of my fondest memories. I also loved dancing and music too! Music is always on in our home and part of our daily routine. I graduated from Purdue University and have my Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan. I spent several years in the public school classroom before staying home with my first-born and then deciding to homeschool our children. I have been empowering families for over 7 years now to live a more wholistic lifestyle. My husband has a degree in Biology-Chemistry and fell in love with the oils after seeing continued successful testimonies in our home. Jason, who was a college athlete has a passion for fitness and the outdoors. You will find him hunting on the weekends or running and working out with our children. He also spends time educating and bringing awareness to families about the benefits of natural solutions! Over the past 16 years we have both become passionate about living simply, caring for our family with natural solutions, and empowering other families!

Four years ago we downsized our lifestyle and started homeschooling our children. We have a 13 year old daughter, two 9 year old boys, and an 8 year old daughter. We refer to homeschool now as “lifeschool” because we do life with our children. As parents we hope our children will experience wonder and adventure in childhood and the joy of spending time together as a family.
